Background Follo Ren IKS needs to replace the existing machine and is therefore carrying out a procurement of a new wheeled excavator through operational leasing. The machine shall be included in the daily handling of household waste and it shall be used for compressing and sorting directly in hook containers before further transport to the reception and treatment. In order to ensure efficient and stable operation, it is important that the machine has qualities that provide a good range and sufficient lifting capacity for the relevant use. Follo Ren IKS also needs a delivery that ensures operational security throughout the entire hire period. It is therefore important to have good follow-up from the tenderer, including service, inspections and an appropriate response agreement. A good driver environment and an accessible service apparatus are also central to support safe and efficient use in daily operations. Description of the assignment The procurement is for operational leasing of one new, ready certified, wheeled excavator with the accompanying equipment in the form of a sorting slide and cleaning drawer. The hire period is 7 years (84 months) from delivery. The delivery shall include a leasing model where the tenderer carries the financial risk for the equipment, is responsible for the remaining value and returns the machine when the lease expires. The offered hire price shall include a calculated use of 700 hours per annum, total 4,900 hours during the entire hire period. The delivery shall also include the necessary follow-up in the contract period, including service, checks and response as needed, so that the machine can maintain the provided function in the contracting authority ́s operation. A machine is requested that is suitable for continual waste management and that, at the same time, meets the user friendliness and driver comfort requirements. This includes i.a. good working conditions in the driver ́s place, good overview and lighting, low vibrations and noise, as well as systems that make the machine service friendly. The machine is requested to be delivered as soon as possible in January 2027 and by 30.04.2027 at the latest.
